Vocational service benchmarks Rotary's impeccable service to Rotary Clubs, as well as to local and international communities. Vocational service has no boundaries and can include any service, which is done for the greater good of the community.
Rotarians are classified in their clubs on the basis of their vocations.
Vocational service is an essential element in the execution of Rotary programs, especially the following:
Vocational Industrial Visits
Once or twice per year we arrange vocational visits to companies or organizations to expand our members knowledge about business and community activities in our area.
Our last vocational visit was happening on the 14 th October 2010, a partner's night at the Rochford Winery.
We received information about the wine industry generally and the Rochford production in particular. We enjoyed great food, wine and fellowship.
Ron Goding Excellence Award
This award is presented each year in March to a business or organization, which in opinion of the club adhere to the highest standards in business ethics and moral standards.

He had been awarded Rotary's highest honor - a Paul Harris fellow with Sapphire Pin. Pride of Workmanship Award
Held in May each year. Pride of Workmanship was launched as a Rotary project at the District 9680 Assembly in June 1975 and later adopted by our club. The aim was to encourage a much-needed pride in personal performance in the workplace, and to help create a national attitude for the benefit of our country.
The award is designed to recognize an individual employee nominated by his or her employer for demonstrating responsibility to do a job well. Having such employees is one of the greatest intangible assets in our community.
