Rotary International is the world's largest service organization. Founded in Chicago, in the USA in 1905 by Paul Harris, it has expanded to 1.24 million men and women members in over 35,800 clubs in 20 countries worldwide.
Membership is by invitation and represents a wide cross section of the community. Rotarians enjoy a healthy, fun social life based around family and club events.
Rotarians plan and carry out a remarkable variety of humanitarian, cultural and exchange programs that benefit people's lives in their local community and throughout the world;
