Violence Free Families

During 2014/15, the Rotary Club of Healesville joined a community group, 'Change the Story', comprising various organisations (Churches, HICCI, EACH, ANCHOR and several others) with the purpose to create awareness of family violence and to discuss possible action plans.

A number of programs have subsequently been developed such that in 2017 there are:
the MATE Bystander Program, a Men's Breakfast Group, the Badger Creek Primary School Respect Program,'This Girl Can' Program, and a Women's Empowerment Program.

The Rotary Club of Healesville is specifically involved via sponsorship of the Women's Empowerment Program.
